Wednesday's joys

Great medical care, medical insurance, momma's loving care, soup for lunch, baths (with bubbles, of course), resting, CALLS FROM FRIENDS, checking in, my bed, momma's bed, the couch as a bed, having the flexibility to take a day of rest, craft projects, good reports about Doreen, my parents love and attention, books to keep me company.

Family Visit Joys

Computers that work, purple silly putty!!!, printers row book fair, new Vicar of Dibley episodes, metra, Chicago, laughter, women together, feeding the ducks, waffles, books, sleeping in my bed, soft foods, birthday cake, Tim being a great friend, quilting, Benedicts, IKEA, family fun, the library, free books.

Wednesday's joys

Grandma is here, crock-pot food, leftovers, beautiful drives, Elizabeth K, making weekend in Chicago plans, finding "Simple" shoes at the thrift store (recycling recycled shoes), Bath and Body Works summer sale!!! Dad coming through surgery well. GOOD NEWS ABOUT DOREEN!

Sunday's Joys

Sunshine and Camp Emmaus, hugs from camp friends, playing with camp kids, "you are welcome to eat cookies in my trunk," getting ready for my puppy, my church family, quilting, watching "The Namesake," eating pizza, Jo Ann Fabrics, all of my dishes clean, updates about Doreen, buying "Before Sunset."

Saturday's joys

soft grass under my bare feet, playing games, tennis, sunshine, volunteering at the library, sleeping in, "Friends" (the TV show), back rubs, spring mornings, voicemails from great frineds, taking pictures with my new camera, quoting "West Wing."

Friday's joys

Mom's cookies, my parent's love, new friends, expert medical care, adopted family, LIFE, Doreen's fighting spirit, Manchester.

Memorial Day Weekend Joys

Church Softball, Waffles with friends, Finishing "The Thirteenth Tale," My adopted family, Jo Ann Fabricks, crocheting, stamped cross stitch, sitting in the sunshine, spending no money, Bride and Prejudice, Indianapolis 500, Once (music and movie).

Friday's joys

Momma's house, playing with Maxie, puppy chow (Chex mix), watching the West Wing with friends, a three day weekend in front of me, playing Apples to Apples, laughter, pictures, researching 1948 and what happened that year for work, being passionate about the Chicago VEV event, reading Arthurian Lit, Simon and Garfunkel, visiting the library with no agenda.

Thursday's joys

Riding the metra, mass transportation, Chicago, the loop, Mennoniets, VEV, reading, smiles from beautiful people, baking, calls from mom, dad's pocket calling, SYTYCD, memories of fun times with friends, quilting, calls from momma.
